PulseForge Privacy Policy

Effective date: 23 July 2026 · LineSpotting AB, Sweden

PulseForge is built to keep your workout and health data on your device. We do not sell data and we do not show ads.

Accounts (optional)

You may use PulseForge without an account, with a local demo login, or by registering an email address and password. If you create an account, we store your email address and a hashed password on our authentication service (Cloudflare Workers + D1, EU-hosted infrastructure). We use this only to sign you in, verify your email, and reset your password. We do not use your account for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Account deletion: You can permanently delete your account in the app (Me → Delete Account), including the App Review demo path and registered email accounts. Registered accounts are removed from our servers immediately. Demo accounts are local only. You can also use pulse-forge.uk/delete-account.html or email [email protected].

Workout history, streaks, badges, and HealthKit/Health Connect data are not uploaded to our servers when you use a registered account — they remain on your device as described below.

Health data (HealthKit & Health Connect)

With your permission, PulseForge reads heart-rate and workout data from Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android) to show live heart-rate zones and long-term stats, and writes completed workouts back to the health platform you authorised. Health data stays on your device and the platform health store — we do not receive or store it on our servers. Health data is never used for advertising or shared with third parties.

Workout history & settings

Your streaks, badges, preferences and workout history are stored locally on your device. Exports you create (e.g. Excel/CSV) are generated on-device and shared only where you choose to send them.

Purchases

The one-time Lifetime Unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details. Purchase state is verified through Apple's StoreKit.

Exercise videos

Exercise demonstration videos are downloaded from our content delivery network (Cloudflare). Standard technical logs (IP address, request time) may be processed by Cloudflare to deliver the files. No identifiers from your workouts or health data are attached to these requests.

Analytics & tracking

PulseForge contains no third-party analytics, no advertising SDKs and no trackers.

Data retention — 90-day inactivity cleanup

PulseForge stores your workout history, streaks and badges locally on your device. If the app is not opened for 90 days, this local history is automatically removed the next time the app runs. We send a reminder notification about one week before the cleanup would take effect. The optional one-time Data Vault purchase disables this cleanup permanently, keeping your history forever. Data you have saved to Apple Health is never affected by this cleanup, and exports you created remain wherever you saved them.

Notifications

Daily workout reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. They are optional and can be disabled in the app or in iOS Settings.

Your rights

Because workout and health data stay on your device, uninstalling the app removes local PulseForge history. Registered accounts must be deleted via Me → Delete Account (or by contacting us) to remove your email from our servers. Health data written to Apple Health can be managed in the Health app. Under GDPR you may contact us with any privacy question or request.
